PLA and PAP Troops Joined in Disaster Rescue and Relief in Guizhou’s Rongjiang County
7月8日下午，國(guó)防部新聞局副局長(zhǎng)、國(guó)防部新聞發(fā)言人蔣斌大校就近期涉軍問(wèn)題發(fā)布消息。
記者：據(jù)報(bào)道，近期貴州榕江縣發(fā)生洪澇災(zāi)害，解放軍和武警部隊(duì)官兵參與搶險(xiǎn)救災(zāi)工作。請(qǐng)進(jìn)一步介紹有關(guān)情況。
Question：It is reported that the PLA and the PAP participated in flood rescue in Rongjiang county of Guizhou. Please brief us on the details.
蔣斌：近日，貴州榕江縣發(fā)生洪澇災(zāi)害。災(zāi)情就是命令、險(xiǎn)情就是戰(zhàn)場(chǎng)。解放軍和武警部隊(duì)官兵聞令而動(dòng)，迅即展開(kāi)搶險(xiǎn)救災(zāi)行動(dòng)。累計(jì)出動(dòng)9200余人次、大型機(jī)械90臺(tái)次，組織民兵1.4萬(wàn)余人次，參與人員搜救、群眾安置、道路搶通、物資搬運(yùn)、清淤消殺等任務(wù)。
Jiang Bin：Recently, Guizhou’s Rongjiang county was struck by floods. A natural disaster is an order for action, and the disaster-hit area is the battlefield for the troops. PLA and PAP forces rushed to the affected region to fight the floods and mitigate the losses. More than 9,200 military personnel and 14,000 militia personnel have been deployed, and 90 sets of large engineering equipment mobilized to participate in such tasks as search and rescue, relocation of residents, road clearance, supplies transportation, removal of mud, and disinfection.
